Like when we got back to the camp from the lake I told the girls since they had just eaten sugar and been in the sun, they needed a quiet 15 minutes. Cyndi Lauper came on the radio belting, "girls just want to have fun." Hmm. OK then. I can't help but think that way. Maybe that did not happen for a reason? Maybe I'm just a sucker? but either way I decided it was wiser just then to let them play. With provisos of course.

THE MYSTERY OF THE BOOKS

Okay

So

We're going to view a book

It's called "The Mystery of the Books"

And, um, and, let's see

we're going to talk a little quiet

and so

so um

do you want to hear the mystery of the books now?

first I'm going to introduce myself

and then we'll do a couple

you probably heard some of my songs

it's called "The Mystery of The Books"

So, one day, there was a little girl who's name was Amy

And Amy loved the library

And she had lots of books because she loved to read

and...and...

she loved to read

so one day she went to her library

and she was looking

looking in every shelf for her favorite book

It wasn't there

and

OK and

she couldn't find it anywhere

and so

she even told the librarian

and the librarian said

I found something interesting

and she showed it up

it was a leaf

a leaf that was purple and it had stripes all over it

and Amy found that too

they had the same mystery

because she couldn't find it at her house either

so they went somewhere else

and asked another library

and the library didn't have it

but they used to

and they still had it but somebody stole it again

and they had that leaf

they found that leaf that was purple and had stripes all over

and so

it also was so mysterious

that they went to another library

and that library thought they still had it

and they really did

but somebody stole that book too

and they found the purple leaf that had stripes all over

and they went to another library

and they used it to have it and they still have it

but somebody stole it

and they went to another library

and that was the last one in New York

so

so and

it was the last one in New York

they went to that library

and that library used to have it

and then on the way they found something

the one book that they needed

and there was so many of them

and they were all in different languages

that it was Amy's mother that got them for her to keep at home!

And Amy's mother was a bird

And she was a bird too

Everybody in this world were birds

And everyobdy in that world was birds

And so, they said, just take one book

just one book they said and the other one said and Amy said

just take one of the books

and the other side said just take one of those

and that was my favorite book

and and um and

keep it at home

and you turn it in

next day you go to the library

so at home you tell them when you're at the libary

and that's the end of the story

but there's more to it

but it's not the end of the story

because there's more to it

but we're not going to tell it now

first we're going to take a 20 second break

Okay, now we're back and

and then

the next day

not the day after they had that problem

the mystery

8 days later

Amy went to the libsrary and returned the books

and they got there and they were looking for

her first

her second favorite book again

and

oh I forgot to say something

chapter 2 is called

"Can't find another book"

and chapter 1 was "looked in every library

but not everyone in the world

but a lot of cities

um looked in every library that I could go to

and we couldn't find the other book"

so it was like this

the next day she put the book away

and then she looked for her second book

didn't find it

and this time it was blue and orange and red tree feathers

orange red and blue feathers

that was another feather and another book they found

so she looked and also the library found that

so

they looked

all around the other one

and couldn't find it

and they found another one of those feathers

the same exact one

and the library also found another one of those feathers

and they went to a different library

and they couldn't find it

and they found another one of the feathers

and they went to another library

and they found another

3 other feathers

and so

they went the rest of the way

there was no other book that they found

they were trying to find the book

even those

all of the libraries used to have that book

and still did

but someone stole it

and so they went

and so they couldn't find a single a book

not even the second book they were looking for

they found a lot of books

but not the book they were looking for

and then the librarian

and then there was no more countries

and then they um got on

they went to the libary

and on the way

they stopped

and also it was

it was

a next door neighbor, Eva!

Eva was keeping them

because it was her first and only books

they they they said

you can take those books

but next time you go to the library only take one

but that's it

and that's exactly what they said

and that's the chapter
