The other day we were walking to school and Lucia said, "When I say bye girl, bye girl, you say burning bread. Ready?"

That sounded familiar. Then I remembered about a year ago (she would've been 2) singing Blake's "Tyger Tyger burning bright" to her before bedtime. The form had stayed in her memory, but she made the content her own.
