first line of Shakespeare

Last week a book arrived in the mail from David Warne DeGraff called How To Teach Your Children Shakespeare. I took its first suggestion and had Sofia And-Lucia repeat "I know a bank where the wild thyme blows" over and over again until they had it memorized. The line is from Midsummer Night's Dream. Then I showed them pictures of wild thyme online so they would know what they were talking about. Yesterday I took them to the Highline in Chelsea. We were walking along and we noticed thyme growing next to the path. I said, "Look girls, this path we are walking down is like a river and there's wild thyme blowing on the banks." Sofia got excited and said, "Grandpa's book has come alive!"
