THE MYSTERY OF THE BOOKS

Okay

So

We're going to view a book

It's called "The Mystery of the Books"

And, um, and, let's see

we're going to talk a little quiet

and so

do you want to hear the mystery of the books now?

first I'm going to introduce myself

and then we'll do a couple

we're going to uh

so my name is Ana Lucia

you probably heard some of my songs

and if I played on my instrument or something like that

so let's see

it's called "The Mystery of The Books"

So, one day, there was a little girl who's name was Amy

And Amy loved the library

And she had lots of books because she loved to read

and...and...

she loved to read

so one day she went to her library

and she was looking

looking in every shelf for her favorite book

It wasn't there

and

OK and

she couldn't find it anywhere

and so

she even told the librarian

and the librarian said

I found something interesting

and she showed it up

it was a leaf

a leaf that was purple and it had stripes all over it

and Amy found that too

they had the same mystery

because she couldn't find it at her house either

so they went somewhere else

and asked another library

and the library didn't have it

but they used to

and they still had it but somebody stole it again

and they had that leaf

they found that leaf that was purple and had stripes all over

and so

it also was so mysterious

that they went to another library

and that library thought they still had it

and they really did

but somebody stole that book too

and they found the purple leaf that had stripes all over

and they went to another library

and they used it to have it and they still have it

but somebody stole it

and they went to another library

and that was the last one in New York

so

so and

it was the last one in New York

they went to that library

and that library used to have it

and they still had it

they still had it

but they but they

didn't have it anymore

but they still had it

but somebody stole it

and they had the feather

that was purple

but had stripes all over

they had it too

and and so

they went to

Italia

And they got their language ready

and they said

and so

they went to the library

and they they

went to Italia

and they went to the library

and they spoke the language

and so

they looked all around

in each book and they couldn't find it anywhere

and they used to have it

and they still did

but somebody stole it

sombody took it

so

somebody took it

and the mysterious person who stole

all of the books

It must have been all around the world

they looked in every library

in Italia

in allllll the whole world

so

so theey went to another library

and also that one

that library

in Italia

In Itality

they found a leaf that had stripes all over it too

so they went to a different library

and they searched every book

but nothing to be found

what they were looking for

they used to have it but somebody stole it

somebody stole it and that's bad

so they went off to a different library

in Italian

and

and so

they went to a different library in Italia

and they couldn't find it

they looked through every book and

they used to have it

that library did

but somebody stole it

and so

when

when

they went to a different library

and also that library found the feather with the stripes all over it

the leaf of the feather

and so they went to a different library

and they searched through every book

and they couldn't find it

that library used to have that book here

and they still did

but somebody stole it

and that library also had

a leaf that was striped and it was purple

and so then they turned to another world

and they got the language ready

and that place was tiny

and they went to one library

there was only 3 libraries there

and they looked at every book

and no, nothing, no

not the book they were looking for in that library

that library

that librarian found the purple feathers with the stripes all around it too

and then on the way they found something

the one book that they needed

and there was so many of them

and they were all in different languages

that it was Amy's mother that got them for her to keep at home!

And Amy's mother was a bird

And she was a bird too

Everybody in this world were birds

And everyobdy in that world was birds

And so, they said, just take one book

just one book they said and the other one said and Amy said

just take one of the books

and the other side said just take one of those

and that was my favorite book

and and um and

keep it at home

and you turn it in

next day you go to the library

so at home you tell them when you're at the libary

and that's the end of the story

but there's more to it

but it's not the end of the story

because there's more to it

but we're not going to tell it now

first we're going to take a 20 second break

Okay, now we're back and

and then

the next day

not the day after they had that problem

the mystery

the day

8 days later

Amy went to the libsrary and returned the books

and they got there and they were looking for

her first

her second favorite book again

and

oh I forgot to say something

chapter 2 is called

"Can't find another book"

and chapter 1 was "looked in every library

but not everyone in the world

but a lot of cities

um looked in every library that I could go to

and we couldn't find the other book"

so it was like this

the next day she put the book away

and then she looked for her second book

didn't find it

and this time it was blue and orange and red tree feathers

orange red and blue feathers

that was another feather and another book they found

so she looked and also the library found that

so

they looked

all around the other one

and couldn't find it

and they found another one of those feathers

the same exact one

and the library also found another one of those feathers

and they went to a different library

and they couldn't find it

and they found another one of the feathers

and they went to another library

and they found another

3 other feathers

and so

they went the rest of the way

there was no other book that they found

they were trying to find the book

even those

all of the libraries used to have that book

and still did

but someone stole it

and so they went

and so they couldn't find a single a book

not even the second book they were looking for

they found a lot of books

but not the book they were looking for

and then the librarian

and then there was no more countries

and then they um got on

they went to the libary

and on the way

they stopped

and also it was

it was

a next door neighbor, Eva!

Eva was keeping them

because it was her first and only books

they they they said

you can take those books

but next time you go to the library only take one

but that's it

and that's exactly what they said

and that's the chapter

The Wind Is The Breeze

The first day of me's
The first of anything
that you can ever see

The wind is always me and you
The wind is everywhere

The breeze is the wind
on the tears of the skin

The wind might be special
The wind might be cold
The wind is always outside
Sometimes you just can't see it

It takes the wind
to feel the breeze

The breeze is the wind
on top of your skin

Sometimes the breeze
which is on your knees
can be a little strong
and something can blow away
from your mind

Last night Lucia played piano for 45 minutes, and as she played random felt chord clusters she sang a warbling song she called Nature Nature. "Nature is you, nature is me, nature is everything you see, nature nature..." Afterward she told me she got happy tears in her eyes as she was playing.

Today I said, "Lucia, why is the sky so high?"

She answered, "Because birds fly."

last night's bedtime story:

THE RED HORSE

There was a red horse that was highly coveted by everyone in the kingdom because it was twice as fast as all the rest of the horses. All of the knights wanted to own the horse.

One night ("Wait, which kind of night/knight?" asks Sofia, "How do you spell it?") One night, with an N, all of the knights, with a K, got together to discuss who was going to own the red horse. 

Sir Reginald said, "I should own it, because I am the oldest and therefore have seniority." Sir Nigel said, "No I should own it because I am the strongest." Sir Gerald said, "No, I should own it because I am the fastest. And after all it is the fastest horse." Sir Alistair said, "No I should have the horse because I am the best swordsman." And Sir Findlay said, "Well, by my reasoning, I should have the horse because I am smartest!"

(Sofia suggests, "Maybe they can share the horse, each have it for one day of the week?" She's obviously smarter than Sir Findlay.)

"Here, Here," said Sir Reginald, "I don't want to share the horse and this is obviously going nowhere. Why don't we have a contest to see who gets the horse?"

"What kind of contest?" asked Sir Findlay. 

"I propose a history quiz," answered Sir Reginald. "Whoever does the best on the quiz will win the contest." 

"Pshaw!" said Sir Nigel. "You would win that easily as you are the oldest one here and know the most history. How about a contest to see who can lift the heaviest weight?"

"Fiddlesticks!" said Sir Gerald. "You would win that one because you are the strongest. How about instead we have a foot race?"

"Nonsense!" said Sir Alistair. "You would win that one because you are the fastest. I propose we have a sword fight for the red horse."

"I beg your pardon!" said Sir Findlay. "You would obviously win that one. Just as I, being the smartest, would win a contest of the wits. What we need is a contest in which none of us has an advantage."

(Sofia suggests a race in which each contestant holds one leg and hops on the other leg to the finish.)

The knights thought that was a great idea, but before they could hold the contest a messenger came to tell the knights that the princess had fallen in love with the red horse and decided to help it escape from the royal stables. Now, alas, it was gone with the wind.
